ShareCare provides ShareCare and is the data controller for the personal data described here. Care circles hold sensitive information about families and children, and we treat it accordingly.

Documents and messages you submit are processed by third-party AI providers on our behalf under contract, solely to return the result to you. They are not used to train general-purpose models.
We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising.
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data leaves the UK or EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
We keep your circle's data while your account is active. After you close your account, or after an extended period of inactivity, we delete or anonymise it within 90 days, except where we must keep records longer for tax, accounting or legal purposes. You can delete individual items — messages, documents, expenses, care records — at any time inside the app.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, encryption of vault secrets before storage, per-circle access rules enforced at the database level, and restricted internal access. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
ShareCare is for adults. Children do not have accounts. Information about children is entered by the adults responsible for their care, who are responsible for having the right to share it.
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, to receive a portable copy, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. UK and EEA residents may also complain to their supervisory authority. We respond within one month.
